“Some wounds don’t bleed. They stay quiet. They become you.”
This is not a book to read. It’s a book to feel.
Your Silence Was Never Empty is a collection of raw, original quotes, each paired with haunting, photorealistic images that reflect the parts of us hidden, forgotten, or abandoned.
For the ones who broke in private.
For the ones who smiled through screaming.
For the ones who carried everything and were never asked if it was heavy.
Every page is a mirror.
Every quote is a truth you nearly said.
Every image is what silence looks like when it finally speaks.

I am a writer, poet, and tech strategist whose work blends lived trauma, philosophical clarity, and emotional depth to unmask the quiet wounds hidden behind silence. I was born in Lebanon and shaped by a childhood divided between Lebanon and Sweden, later living in Dublin and Madrid. I write from the fault lines of identity, memory, survival, and the stories we were never allowed to name.
My debut book, Your Silence Was Never Empty, has been described by readers as “a quiet revolution,” “the kind of truth that sits beside you,” and “the first time I’ve felt understood in years.” It pairs raw poetic lines with haunting, photorealistic imagery to turn each page into an emotional mirror — a place where long-buried truths finally breathe.

Before becoming an author, I built a global career in strategy, operations, and technology. My work in diversity, equity, and inclusion sharpened my belief in refusing silence where a voice belongs, and in standing beside those whose stories are often erased or unheard.
In 2022, my life shifted direction after a cancer diagnosis left me without a voice for eight months. Writing became survival. Words became breath. And one late night, I watched Nightbirde (Jane Marczewski)’s performance on America’s Got Talent — an act of defiant hope that struck something deep within me and reopened a door I had unknowingly kept closed for years. Her voice became the spark that helped me find my own.

I am also the creator of The Mask Poetry, a cinematic persona born to speak the truths people fear to say aloud — especially around trauma, sexuality, identity, memory, and becoming. Through The Mask, I bring forward the stories that are often softened, hidden, or refused, allowing art to say what people cannot.
My debut marks the beginning of a seven-book literary arc. My second book, The Salt of Time: Whispers of Hope, is a long-form poetry collection shaped by illness, endurance, love, heartbreak, family, betrayal, and the slow reconstruction of the self.

Through poetry, performance, and personal storytelling, my work invites readers to recognise the wounds they carry, understand where those wounds come from, and reclaim the parts of themselves they once silenced in order to survive.

We were told pain makes us stronger. But sometimes, pain just bleeds and we survive in spite of it.
