Your Silence Was Never Empty: Coming Soon!
“Some wounds don’t bleed. They stay quiet. They become you.”
This is not a book to read. It’s a book to feel.
Your Silence Was Never Empty is a collection of raw, original quotes, each paired with haunting, photorealistic images that reflect the parts of us hidden, forgotten, or abandoned.
For the ones who broke in private.
For the ones who smiled through screaming.
For the ones who carried everything and were never asked if it was heavy.
Every page is a mirror.
Every quote is a truth you nearly said.
Every image is what silence looks like when it finally speaks.
I’m Rabih Moussan, a poet, storyteller, strategist, technology & business consultant, and mirror-bearer.
I was born in Lebanon and raised between Lebanon and Sweden, with later chapters in Dublin and Madrid. Each place gave me more than geography; it shaped how I listen, how I observe, and how I translate the unspeakable into language. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Linköping University and an MBA from IE Business School. My work across operations, leadership, and global strategy taught me how systems shape people, and how stories, when told right, can reshape them. Of all my roles, none have marked me more than my work in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI); not as corporate policy, but as a refusal to accept silence where a voice belongs. It was never a task to complete, but a truth to stand for. I believe we are not only here to speak, but to stand for those whose voices have been erased, dismissed, or never invited to speak at all.
In 2022, I was diagnosed with cancer. After surgery, I lost the ability to speak for eight months. It was not poetic. It was painful, isolating, and physically dismantling. But in that silence, something unexpected began to form. One night, deep in that wordless fog, I came across a video of Jane Marczewski, known as Nightbirde, singing on the stage of America’s Got Talent, her body riddled with terminal cancer. But her voice carried more than melody. It carried defiance, grace, and a quiet kind of rebellion. She didn’t sing to escape pain. She sang to show the living how to endure it. To stay. To feel everything and still choose beauty. Watching her, something broke open in me. I realized I didn’t need to be healed to be whole.
I began to write, not to become a poet, not merely to make art, but to carve out a space where my voice could learn how to live again. What began as scattered fragments and a quiet coping mechanism slowly became a voice I hadn’t realized I’d been silencing all along.
Your Silence Was Never Empty is a collection of quotes written in the aftermath of survival and the intimacy of remembering.
Whispers of Hope: The Salt of Time (Coming Soon 2025) is a poetry collection shaped by illness, endurance, and the quiet rebuilding of the self.
The 7 Mirrors of Life: Shattered Truths & Healing reflections (Coming soon 2026) is a philosophical reflection on identity, inheritance, and the inner truths we lose, live through, and eventually seek to reclaim.
I do not write to impress. I write because something in me refused to stay silent. And if these words touch a place you thought no one could see, then perhaps it was never invisible, just unspoken until now. If something breaks inside you as you read, it is only the shell you were never meant to die in.
We were told pain makes us stronger. But sometimes, pain just bleeds and we survive in spite of it.
Words are how we find each other. If something in my work moved you, stayed with you, or made you feel seen, I welcome your message with an open heart.
Whether you’re reaching out with a question, a collaboration idea, a story to share, or simply a kind word, I’d love to hear from you. Every message matters. Fill out the form below, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Let’s create something meaningful together.
Let’s tell stories that matter.
